PIIOP 3 Structures and Project Management Services

Project Overview

PIIOP 3 works were focused on upgrading larger infrastructure within the main canals of the network to improve system control and increase harvesting from rainwater events. PIIOP 3 improvements merged with earlier updates to the network that increased flow rates and improved ordering flexibility for customers.

The services provided by Ertech included design management, constructability reviews, cost estimating and scheduling under an Early Contractor Involvement contract which led to construct only contracts to construct and commission the works.

The upgrades included asset decommissioning, major steel reinforced concrete works, bulk and detailed earthworks, large mechanical gate replacements and electrical works.
