Petrie Intersection Upgrade

Project Overview

The intersection is an important connection between the suburbs of the Moreton Bay Region, and wider transport networks.

The complex roadworks project was constructed in a constrained and highly trafficked urban environment.  The Petrie Intersection Upgrade installed a signalised T-intersection with wider approaches to help ease congestion, reduce travel time for motorists and improve safety for all road users. The upgraded infrastructure also improves connectivity between key employment, industrial, educational, and residential areas in the Moreton Bay region.

Ertech worked collaboratively with the Client’s project representatives and designers to overcome design-related project challenges. The project team performed well to meet key milestones and deliver high-quality project outcomes despite significant impacts from COVID and major weather events.
