Roma Street Parklands

Project Overview

The Queensland Government’s $72M Roma Street Parklands is an award-winning city centre subtropical garden. The parkland constructed on the old railway goods yard now provides Brisbane’s largest area of green space.

Ertech (formerly Moggill Constructions) was chosen to build the infrastructure core of the project (Parkland Boulevard), running from Wickham Terrace and flowing through the perimeter of the gardens to Roma Street.

This was a fast-tracked project demonstrating our ability to incorporate numerous design changes and an increased scope of works within the original time frame. Ertech’s collaborative approach with the Managing Contractor, Abigroup, and its adjacent package holders, enabled us to complete the works on time whilst operating on a tight deadline.
