In 2009 Ertech stepped up to the plate rather boldly to take on the Gorgon Site Preparation and WAPET landing project – Ertech’s largest contract win at the time.  We were one of the first contractors on Barrow Island, so a lot was riding on us to deliver the early infrastructure necessary to support the Gorgon development.

Ertech rose to meet every challenge faced.  We enhanced our systems, expanded our facilities and services, and deployed the right team.

From the start, we demonstrated a deep commitment to getting it right, and in giving our best every day, we remain a valued local business partner to Chevron in Australia.

Ertech has worked on the start-up of both Gorgon and Wheatstone projects and in the last 14 years, we have maintained a continuous presence on Barrow Island, delivering civil and electrical services for Gorgon operations.

In everything we have taken on, we have shown strength in adapting to changing needs, scaling operations, and diversifying services.

We have demonstrated that our values of collaboration, courage, and authenticity underpin everything we do.  These values reside in our people, and without the right team members, all of this would not have been possible.  Thank you to every team member both on- and off-site for creating success.

While this is a brief reflection of our journey with Chevron, it is also about the future.

Having secured several new contracts on Barrow Island and Wheatstone we have an exciting road ahead.  We invite you to join us on the journey!   Explore current career opportunities with Ertech and become part of a successful team.   Go to Ertech Careers Page
