Our Reconciliation Journey
Clynton Saxon, Ertech’s GM, opened the evening by reflecting on our reconciliation journey and the progress we’ve made so far. We were honoured to welcome Josh McGuire, senior marmun of the Whadjuk people, who shared powerful stories and songs passed down from his father, Whadjuk Elder Walter McGuire.
Our CEO, James Giumelli, thanked Josh for his Welcome to Country before providing a business update and recognising the collective achievements of the past year.
The Grey Line
The venue’s private theatre provided the perfect setting to screen The Grey Line – a powerful short film exploring the impacts of the Stolen Generation.
The conversations sparked by this film continued well beyond the event, with employees engaging in meaningful discussions in the workplace, reflecting on its message and deepening their understanding of Australia’s shared history.
We’re proud to continue walking this path together, committed to listening, learning, and contributing to reconciliation in a meaningful way.
