Before opening the new dual-lane, dual carriageway alignment of the Great Western Highway to traffic, Ertech and Transport for NSW hosted a proactive community engagement session on the Coxs River Road project.

This interactive event brought together more than 35 local residents and stakeholders to explore how the upgraded road would support safer, smoother journeys through the region. Using giant maps and whiteboards, attendees were able to visualise changes, familiarise themselves with new destination paths, and ask questions about how the realignment might affect their daily routines.

By involving the community before the road opened in early Q2 2025, we helped ensure that locals were informed, confident, and ready for the change.

Thanks to everyone who contributed to this collaborative and engaging session.
