Description
Since commencement in Ravensthorpe in 2004, Ertech have been heavily involved in the development of the minesite’s infrastructure over a range of disciplines. Ertech demonstrated our capability in constructing the necessary infrastructure to help bring the Ravensthorpe Nickel Mine to production. We then demonstrated our ability to continue providing civil services to the mine whilst working alongside the minesite’s operations. Our project team was able to deliver the following infrastructure “under the one roof”:
- 18 Evaporation ponds, tailings dams and settling ponds totaling 1,900,000m³ of bulk earthworks and 2,300,000m² of HDPE liner.
- 1500 man construction camp and 300 man executive accommodation camp including building installation and all roads, paths and services.
- 40km of 710mm diameter HDPE and 20km of 650mm diameter GRP seawater pipeline including valve and pumping stations.
- 20km of miscellaneous HDPE pipework, access roads and other services together with various concrete structures including footings, foundations and slabs.
