Description
The contract involved the construction of 4.7km of single lane carriageway bypassing the town centre of Mount Barker with associated intersections, slip lanes, a major roundabout on Albany Highway and extensive traffic management.
Ertech’s scope of work included:
- 111,000m3 earthworks
- 101,000m2 subgrade
- 90,000m2 of 140mm thick subbase
- 76,000m2 of 210mm thick basecourse
- 62,000m2 of 10mm single coat seal
- 29,000m2 of 40mm asphalt
- 1,020m of piped drainage (300mm to 750mØ) with insitu headwalls
- Kerbing
- Linemarking
- Signage
