Description
This project involved the redevelopment of the Churchlands campus of Edith Cowan University and included the full demolition and remediation of the University. The project contained a number of sensitive issues that required careful management by Ertech including:

• Proximity of existing residents and primary school
• Existing mature tree retention and relocation
• Large scale demolition and remediation
• High quality of workmanship

The project included the following:

• Development of 30 residential lots and siteworks to an additional 150 lots.
• Demolition of 24 University buildings including large lecture theatres.
• Demolition of 36,700m² of existing pavement which was recycled and/or re-used.
• Decommissioning and removal of 12km of existing services.
• Removal of over 100t of asbestos.
• Dust and emission monitoring.
• Retention of over 100 large mature trees during operations.
