Rockingham Foreshore Redevelopment Project

Our Delivery Team at the Rockingham Foreshore Redevelopment Project are applying the finishing touches and adding some colour to the revitalised Rockingham foreshore just in time for summer.
Looks like a tough place to work!

The City of Rockingham is undertaking a high quality major redevelopment of the Rockingham Foreshore Precinct including a grassed amphitheatre, a lookout point, "Eat Street" and an expanded Boardwalk with terracing to the beach. Ertech was awarded Stage One of the revitalisation project with the scope of works including:

  • Upgrade to Railway Terrace (between Kent Street and Rockingham Beach Road) to provide a pedestrian-oriented space through reconfigured car parking, significant tree planting, widening of footpaths and reconfiguration of a signalised intersection;
  • Major redevelopment of the current beach carpark at the end of Railway Terrace to create a pedestrianised "Beach Plaza";
  • Expansion of the pedestrian / alfresco Boardwalk in front of the cafés and restaurants including coastal protection.
