The City of Busselton is upgrading the existing Airport facilities. The key objective of the airport expansion project is to remove the barrier of distance and support economic growth in the South West and more broadly across the State. Ertech's contract for the Design and Construction of Landside Civil and Services includes:

  • Vasse Highway and Neville Hyder Drive intersection upgrade
  • Neville Hyder Drive upgrade including lighting to MRWA standards
  • Proposed internal access roads
  • Short/long term car parking areas including all services:
    Integrated car parking system to car park, including entry/exit boom gates, vehicle recognition capability, pay machines in appropriate car park locations and terminal building; integrated system that allows for flexible pricing structures and comprehensive reporting.
  • New service zone for utilities (water/fire, sewer, power, NBN network and Telstra, irrigation)
  • Code 3 General Aviation (GA) Precinct access roads and all services
  • Reconnection of services to existing terminal and external buildings
  • Soft and hard landscape elements
  • Utility services provision (water/fire, sewer, power, data and sewerage) to new Terminal Building, GA Precinct and existing buildings.
  • Inclusion of HV infrastructure (RMU and HV switchgear) to serve commercial premises
